SNEAK PEEK: Maynard James Keenan of Tool on creative processes! early days of Tool! and UFC! (Video)

Here's a 20-minute sneak peek of my interview with the legendary three-time frontman. Full-length video out next week.

On this episode, Scott welcomes back the iconic frontman of Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer for his second time on Lipps Service — Maynard James Keenan! Maynard discusses the Sessanta tour (in celebration of his 60th birthday), his upbringing in Ohio, his experience in the army, and what it's like living in LA. The two also get into Maynard's many extensive interests, ranging from Jiu-Jitsu, UFC, and wine-making, to opening and owning multiple restaurants. Maynard also talks about his favorite records and how they influence his wine-making. The episode closes with some of Maynard's favorite underground bands, TV shows, and comedians. Tune in for another insightful conversation with the one and only Maynard James Keenan!
